Glasswells Plans 21st Century Make-over
Bury's popular home furnishing store is embarking on an exciting refurbishment, the first major re-fit for five years.
In preparation for the event, and to make way for the work to begin, they will be clearing all current display and stock products, worth over £2 million.
The store will be closed from Saturday 9th May to start the mark down of every clearance item across all departments from sofas and dining to the cookshop, curtains and carpets, this will include big brand names. It will open to the public at 10am on Friday 15th May...
After the clearance, the refurbishment will begin. There will be brand new displays and room sets reflecting the latest colours and styles across all departments and an entirely refreshed look and feel.
Paul Glasswell comments, "This is a really exciting time for the Bury store, it is the biggest furniture clearance in our 63 year history and will allow us to completely re-fresh the entire store, bringing it up to the same pristine standards as our newly opened Ipswich store. Our customers will not only benefit from the drastically reduced prices during the clearance event, throughout the summer months they will also be able to see the transformation of the store taking shape. We look forward to providing refreshing inspiration with brand new products and introducing a totally new and enhanced Glasswells shopping experience."
