Smooth Moves for Charity at Glasswells
There will be fun and frolics at Glasswells this Friday as staff parade in fancy dress and prepare themselves for a sponsored shave or waxing all for Children in Need.
With a target of raising over £500, the staff at the Bury store will be dressing up as school boys and girls and preparing to undergo the razor or brave the wax all for the Pudsey Bear charity. Starting at 4.00pm there will be a very old moustache shaved off, legs waxed and a potentially painful back wax. Come along to the Newmarket Road store and join in the fun.
The BBC Children in Need Appeal night is also held on Friday 18th November, the event raises money to help children and young people throughout the UK. Last year, with the generous donations from people and companies across the UK, they raised over £34 million.
Glasswells like to contribute to charity whenever possible and have also recently raised £130 for Breast Cancer Awareness and over £210 at the Macmillan Coffee Morning that was held on 30th September, an event that they participant in every year within they Place To Eat restaurant.
